Sweet car! Are those stock wheels? Done any mods yet?

Thanks! The wheels are stock and I have no mods yet. I'm actually installing my K&N Filter tomorrow. I'll write up a little procedure with pics for that. Maybe I'll gut the airbox while I'm at it.

Looking forward to it! I am curious if noise goes up at cruising speeds as well as acceleration or if its only when you accelerate? I've been wanting to do mine for 4 months now, but am a chicken when it comes to modding anything. (Screwed up a few things before)

I'll be sure to keep an ear open, but I anticipate there will not be a very noticeable increase in noise (at least I hope...).

If you gut the airbox you will hear additional intake noise, cap the resonator and there will be even more! Beauty car you have there, looks to be in awesome shape

I definately notice it's a little throatier when I get on the gas, but highway noise is very minimal.

BTW erw38, a large part of working on cars (or anything mechanical for that matter) is getting over the fear that your going to break it. We all bust something every now and then. Usually, it's due to being impatient and trying to hurry up. Plan your project and go slow. You'll be just fine. It's pretty hard to mess up the airbox mod too. I recently rebuilt a supercharger and put on a new harmonic balancer on a Bonneville, which was new to me. It's pretty cool when your all done and you pray that is turns over and then she purrs like a kitten...saweet!

Speaking of working on cars, I was about to change my air filter when my light control module fries! I'm just sitting there minding my own business when the twilight sentinel goes nuts! The thing was clicking like popcorn turning the lights on and off. After pulling fuses and relays for an hour, I narrowed it down to the little box buried inside the dash. Strange thing is it happens whether the car is on or not. Temporary fix: battery disconnected. I'll have it in the shop in a few hours as I don't have the time to rip it all apart. Guess that K&N has to wait a little bit longer...

Strange... Ah well, DRL's and twilight sentinels are a pain More importantly, take out the yellow innards of your air box lid...its worth it ;D

Thanks for the knowledge zimaad. It helps to know that others have broken things too. I guess I'll get over my fear one day soon! In the mean time I have to tackle the issue with the seats. Thanks again!
