How fast have you gone in the Aurora? Canada s highways look promising for speed demons.

28 view? 1 reply...wow, thanks guys, glad you liked my vids Anyhow! Fastest I have gone in my car is 225 kph or Autobahn limiter, but the gearing in OD is so low that I was doing about 4200 on the tach. The car had a lot more to go, I think it would be nice to have a PCM burn and only have to deal with the rev limiter. Skys the limit then ;D

hey jim, are you sure its 4200rpm at 225k (140mph)?
cause at 140 im at about 4550ish according to my camera phone. it sounds like you dont have the 3.71 gearing, i know canadian models are sometimes different.

QQX and FV4 (or whatever the tranny gearing RPO is) is on my RPO code sticker. But if I recall correctly it was 4250-4350.
The gearing in OD is really low, but I do have Autobahn

A burnout is probably the wrong term, its more of a braking traction thing.
But in that vid from a standstill I was in 2nd gear. TC off, power shift on to delay the shifting.

what exactly is the diffrerence between power and normal?

During acceleration it merely delays the shifting. However on the roll at WOT (wide open throttle) there is not discernable difference at the shift points. At least thats how I understand it.

Dont get get that Ebay cheapy thing, those 2 wired units for 17 bux work for about 2 seconds. You need a real OBDI chip. The computers in the Aurora are to smart for those ridiculous 35hp gainer hardware
