NICE! well, except for the fender, my car suffered the same fate last winter, had it fixed immediately. The interior looks to be in great shape, from what I can see Question tho? Are those Eagle RS-A's on there? If so what size?

Always love the price wars to be had. That's one of the most fun moments while buying a car ;D

kobalt,
The car looks much better than your description. I imagined a car littered with dings and the interior trashed. The dent and dings look like they're confined to specific spots and the interior looks fine. With the dealership backing up the tranny repair, I'm glad I kept my mouth shut on my first impression. BTW I love that color! I think it shows the new body style off to it's best advantage.
How will you be repairing the body, yourself or going to the shop?

Me three, that color is outSTANDING! I've always had a soft spot for black & navy, I've just never happened to find those colors when I was car shopping.

Wow thanx everyone, I feel flattered Problem is, I posted what I thought were the best pictures - here are the other ones: The front needs some touchup Ditto for bumper I need to buff the door and replace the mirror She still shines, and that's before the wash! As for the bodywork, I have a friend that works at a bodyshop and owes me one - hopefully I can get a deal on that fender/nose. Also, I am looking for the 4.0 trunklid, as it is aluminum and has no border around the license plate - 30lbs less + better looking IMO. Anyone know where I can get one painted?

I'm looking at a 2003 sales brochure and the only difference I can see is the colors and the numbers.

Alas, I've never seen a real live Gen 2 with a 4.0 litre, they made mostly 3.5's - except for 2003. You'll have a difficult job finding someone with a spare 4.0 trunk lid.

I would get the one piece thing.

I think whoever photochopped that needed to add a big "OLDS" sticker on the rear fenders.

Talking of images that will never die - but should - does anyone have a picture of the Louis Vuitton Aurora that was for sale on eBay a few weeks back? I thought the picture was on this forum somewhere but I couldn't find it, and I've looked on eBay as well.

That was a real nasty thing to do to an Aurora - I'd like a picture of it to add to my website.

This gives me an idea - we get together pictures of nasty looking Auroras and start a "What NOT to do with your Aurora" forum thread (or website section?). Something like this - www.jimmy540i.com/bmwnightmare.htm

Something like this - www.jimmy540i.com/bmwnightmare.htmIt's amazing how some people will spend their money. I have a small section on my Aurora site called Heroes and Villains - the only villain I've got so far is the one we looked at a few days ago, that's why I was looking for the Vuitton. I really hope there isn't as many bad Auroras as there is bad BMW's. Although there's more beemers around so I guess the %'s will be that there's more bad beemers. He He - I'm going back to look at more of those wings
