betonthis1: you can go to any wheel distributor to find those wheels. theyre the Niche Rhine. oldsman1: what do they need strength 4, i havent seen any auroras with hydraulics or road racing.

oldsman1: what do they need strength 4, i havent seen any auroras with hydraulics or road racing. Ahem... running up on a curb? Hitting a particularly deep pot hole? That speed bump you don't see until it's too late? There are tons of things that could break a wheel, and factory wheels almost universally can handle all of them (short of a bad wreck). Take a look at Javi's pictures of his wreck. That broke one of his 20s even though the damage to the rest of the car wasn't that bad. It certainly could happen off a racetrack!

well, ive never heard of a rim breaking on a curb or even breaking in a pot hole unless some people ride on their rims with no tires, and i dont see how cheap factory wheels are better than a quality name brand wheel like niche . but anyways i wouldnt worry too much about the strength of a rim unless you live in a god forsaken place where the roads are so bad you wouldnt even have a car, you would have a truck.

Why do they need strength??? Uh, you have a 4,000 pound vehicle on them. That's 1,000 pounds a peice just rolling straight down the road. Now, take that force and magnify it a few thousand pounds - cornering. That's why you need strength in wheels, not to mention striking bumps, potholes in the roads.

Come on guys, lol. If i had the dough i would get mine lowered asap. i dont like the thought of replacing shocks and struts every year though -- thats a big one for me.

Yeah, they are pricey. Lowering would improve handling, but the ride would be a lot stiffer.
