Haha, yeah that car is just sweet. Where do you work? Only way to drive that kinda class is to run your own business, not making someone else rich heh. At Thomas CHevy last nite there was a silver one there. The guy was real nice, let me sit in it and start it up and i let him sit in the R. God that sounded SWEET. I cant believe I broke the digital video cam though, now I gotta replace it.
Speaking of prom, im taking this chick in the R too, shes gonna ******* cause they drive a taurus and ford escape. lol.

Nice cars obviously, but I would spend an afternoon detailing that engine...... I finally degreased the engine. I'll get a picture up of it as soon as possible. It looks 10 times better. It's so beautiful. :tear: Lol.

Ive been watching this "Latest Picture of Your Car" thread for a while now and I have been reluctant to post a current pic of MY car.
I'm jealous of the care and conditions of all these fine examples of engineering and aesthetic marvels. The posted pics are evidence of the devotion and relationships we have with our cars and exterior pics of mine would pale in comparison. I'm actually a little embarrassed.
Time has taken its toll on my baby and, although most people I know can't get over how good it looks and runs, I'm sure that subconsciously, they take the 215,000 miles into consideration to justify giving me the thumbs up of amazement. And heck, from a distance she looks pretty good.
Mechanically my Aurora runs as good, if not better, than the day I bought her, with the exception of an intermittent P0741 code. Perhaps I could avoid taking pics of the paint chipped nose, door dings, cracked dash and cheap aftermarket covered steering wheel and post my mechanicals instead?
As an aside, the more I see the 2nd gen, the more I like it.

TJM, anyone who has a car that has 215,000 miles on it is going to have some visual defects, im sure people dont. Seeing that your car is going so well for so long, gets me pumped up because I only have 46k on mine! If my car can go for 2/3's of that then I would be ecstatic! I say, post some pics and don't be embarassed because anyone who can take care of their car and have it go that long deserves some big-time credit!
BTW: I'd be willing to bet that you have one of the nicest 215,000 mile cars out there! haha

Thanks for the "at-a-boy" mission; pics to follow then.
And, just for the record: To avoid making my car mad or giving her a complex, I don't call them "defects", I call tham anomolies. ;D

hey everyone 1. to mushroom....your car looks great....i love that color, its very unique, i don't think i've seen too many in that color, and the wheels are nice too 2. to TJM.....please post your pictures, no matter what "anomalies" your car may have on the outside...i always say that a few little scratches or dings give the car "character"!!!!! and no matter what.....its still an Aurora....that makes it beautiful in and of itself!!!!

Well, I traded the stock chrome for this set and some money. Friend of mine wanted chrome more than I did I guess. Took the protector off the front plate too, looks a lot better. these are a set of xenon bulbs I found on ebay, similar to eurolights, they've outlasted every pair of silverstar's I've had. just another interior photo finally got the STB on cleaned the engine bay up a bit yesterday

outttatheway your car is TOO clean, did you wax it or something right before? You just made me reconsider what color I want to paint my car when I paint it this winter.
