nice tips, how are they mounted on the exhaust? That is a mod I want to do soon. I was wondering if you have to replace them every time the pipes are replaced. Where did you get them, someone posted a link to some online, $35+ a piece. Is it hard to keep them clean? you painted your pipes? did you do this for the look or to minimize/slow the rust? did you use rustoleum flat black, just guessing good looking car - looks a lot like mine

I just polished the tips and had the body shop clean up and paint the mufflers and tail pipes. I believe the stock exhaust is stainless so they should last a long time. Polishing exhaust tips.

I would love to see the entire back light up when I put on the brakes (or does it??)
I'll take a look at my pipes, I know the y-pipe was replaced but not sure about the rest.

You can wire it in to light up when you press on the brakes if you want, you just have to light the rear panel. I have mine wired in to the running lights so that it comes on at a standard brightness whenever the lights are on and only the left and right tails light up when you're braking. The LEDs wouldn't work with two brightness levels so you would have to use two LED strips if you wanted it to be on and then get brighter... there's a whole discussion about it in the LED rear panel how-to.

Awesome, that is one of the mods at the top of my list. Did I see a thread around here with info on the most popular mods? I would think this would be at the top of the list, more braking visability. Thanks for the link to the forum thread!
