Alright guys, just want some input.
I have been thinking for quite some time to take my GM Techline eSI DVD and copying each and every section to .pdf or .jpeg and posting them on the forum in an orderly fashion. I was also thinking of just designing a web page and providing links to .pdf or .jpeg.
I thought to do this because I am constantly posting repair procedures and or removal for interior parts from the DVD on here for people to use to supplement the members dialog on how to do a given task.
This will take quite some time to upload .pdf or .jpeg to the forum or to a web page. I just wanted to see how many people thought this would be useful. I know many of you do not have a Factory Service Manual. Having the service manual resources available online in addition to all the great advice/help/write-ups on the forum would be a benefit to many members.
So, just let me know what you guys think about this. If I get enough good feedback, I will use my downtime to upload this info, and yes I am talking practically everything on the DVD inside and out of the Aurora.
First up, if enough feedback will be the Classic Auroras and if enough demand exists for the 2nd Gen I will do it as well. I have GM Techline eSI and ALLDATA for both gen/all year Auroras.

Dude that would be EXELENT! You would probably have your own stickied post at the top of the forum. Itll take a while though i bet.

You might want to look into any copyright or reprint issues. It would be a great help to many on the forum.

Assuming that you won't get in trouble for copyright infringement or something like Jack suggested you should look into, I would definitely post it. You would get a sticky for sure with that one! It might even be worth organizing it into a new section topic based on how much info there is.

It would be best to upload it to a webserver then provide links in threads on the forum. I can provide assistance and web space if you want to go that route.

I know about the copywrite laws and all that. GM has more problems than me right now haha Besides we can do something like make an Aurora Club username and password and we would be the only ones able to access it. ;D They are back up files for personal use I have already been cleared by admins here to post. Superdemon, I will be PM'ing you within the next couple days with some details.

What are some major differences between the '98 model Aurora to the previous years (97,96,95)
I think I am going to post the manual for the '98. I obviously cannot post all of them due time/space constraints.
This way I can include some model year specific repair items seperately.
Also, is there a preference for .pdf or .jpeg file format?
