Yep, similar story as the Fox News link posted in this thread. GM is cutting it's arms and legs off one by one, and I'm not so sure that is going to help them out in the long run!

GM's investment in the dreaded Saturn, Hummer, Slob, and even Daewoo have been miserable failures. The "Old Reliables" are being cast off as sludge.

Buick's new cars are looking pretty promising. When seen in person the new Lacrosse looks like a very nice vehicle. I definately wouldn't mind having one actually. They look quite elegant. the new Lucerne should have the same presence to it as well. As for Pontiac, their cars are more performance oriented, but for the price they ask the quality just isn't there. GM won't be able to slide by with mediocre quality and engines anymore. They have to raise the scale fast and high!

The Lacrosse doesnt appeal to me at all. Perhaps to my 79 year old neighbor of here it does, as she just bought one.
