Is there a way to read the forums without seeing the pics?

The only way is to turn off image loading in your browser. The only thing that you have control of on this board is the option to turn off signatures.

If you have dial-up the less pics the better.. You're telling me!!! I definitely appreciate the 56k Warnings. I left for 2 hours today while loading a page on ebay. It still wasn't done when I came back. I kid you not. I can't get cable or DSL because I live to far out in the sticks. The cable company would actually lose money if they ran a line by my house because its so sparsely populated. Kinda sucks.

I can understand cable but why not DSL? too far from a switching station Exactly. Most people expect cable and/or DSL to be available everywhere. I wish.

Yes but living in the "sticks" would be great. I can't wait till I am able to get back there myself. As to my original post I was wondering about pics because I come to this site several times a day since I found it and sometimes I just don't care for some of the giant pics. But I reckon it would take me a while to figure out how to post a "normal size pic" also. {even with step by step instructions} And yes Marc pictures do add a lot to this forum, I love the pics that people post.
