what do you guys think about maybe a section or a sticky in the proper section of misc pics of things like close up's of certain engine parts or of front end parts brakes etc. we usely only post pics related to the topic but maybe some of us would have other pics of things like the front of the engine and other people could refer to those pics to tell somebody where a part is located or what has to be taken off etc. for example one could tell somebody in the pic here the sensor with the 2 green wires is sensor X and you must pull Y and Z to get to it. we could all post our pics and let people refer to them later or we would be able to see what stands in our way before starting a DIY. maybe even post any diagrams we have

Not a bad idea, we kinda have that in all the available maintenance write-ups though. If there's not a write-up on a certain topic, there's probably no photo of it either. There are SO many parts to any car (and the Aurora in particular with all its sensors, etc.) that it's almost easier to display photos on an as-needed basis. Is there something in particular you were wondering about?

no i just thought it would be a good idea for refrence. ive found that the search funtion on this board doesnt work very well and like the other day i changed my fbr and forgot how the clip went back in so i had to hunt threw some posts to find a pic with the fpr in it and i was able to solve my prob right then with out the need to post a question. any way it was just a late night idea

And a good idea like I said. Let's start by pinpointing the part photos we already have on the board. For instance, where did you find the FPR pic? Go ahead and post that thread link here, and I can pull the photo out. Anyone else reading this, post up links (or actual photos) of other parts and I'll start compiling them. If there is enough response and a good collection is started then everything can be combined in one "Part Photos" resource.

Put a caption by each one of those links if you would, with the part name that is shown.
