Isnibs, you best source for Aurora parts is Ebay...wrecked classic Auroras are hard to find at auto recycler yards. Unless Sid has some better ideas

I've got a car bone yard sitting one town over that had 2 wrecked classic Auroras about a month ago when I started looking for parts for my wheel issue... I got a new rim and nice looking tie rod

Like I mentioned in my previous message, I am a heavy equipment mechanic and I have done all my own repairs with Genuine GM Parts. I would recommend personally ony buying AC Delco plugs and plug wires from a GM dealer. If you require any further information or guidance please let me know. I have listed the repairs that I have done below. 1) Installed new Cam Shaft 2) Installed new ALternator 3) Relaced lower control arm bushings 4) Replaced defective Antenna 5) Replace AC Compressor and Dryer 6) Plugs and Wires 7) General Maintenace 8) Serpentine Belt Sidney

Sidney, if you ever have the time, maybe write up the procedures and we can create a Techinfo style page along with the club home page.
This is great information for our members....!!

Jim,
What type of tech information are you looking at adding? I am willing to help anyone do any type of repairs. Please let me know what information that you require and I will help put it together.

There are typical classic Aurora problems, things like Magnasteer/power steering hose vibrations, fuel pressure regulator, that kinda thing. If you have done these repairs yourself, we "Shadetree" mechanics could benefit from this information if it was made available on the site. If you do some write ups, Amanada can add them to the club main page. Sound ok?
