I finally received my recall - 1995 Aurora, made a reservation and had it done today. I do not like how GM handled this situation - I called and told them that my fuel rail was leaking and they told me to have it fixed at my cost and they would reimburse me. I garaged my car until I got the recall. Unfortunately not everyone could do this.

Apparently, GM also recalled Cadillacs with the Northstar engine for the same fuel rail problems...my brother has a 1995 Deville and his was recalled a few months ago for fuel rail replacement..you'd think GM would have recalled your 95 Aurora(s) earlier as well if they knew Northstar equipped cars all had fuel rail leakage potential...well, important thing is you've had it taken care of!!!

What is interesting is that when I got it home I checked it for the stainless rails. They did use stainless and they also covered my front spark plug wires with that plastic loom material to protect the wires from heat. Two of the fuel rails on the side also had aluminum type heat shields on them.
