how do you know if your compressor is good or not?

Simple - sit in the back seat with 2 other friends, you should hear the compressor kick in. In the event it does not you have a definate ELC problem.

According to GM tech....300 lbs of extra weight = 1/4" of increased ride height. Measure from the rear fender lip to the ground, then load the car up, if he ride height increases, it works. You can hear the compressor as well.

my elc is dead. never hear it come on anymore. new air shocks 3 months ago too.
