I've recently noticed that the lights behind some of the buttons on both the drivers door and the passenger door must be burning out. These are the buttons for the seat warmer, the door locks, etc. The lights only show up at night to allow you to find the buttons. I've also noticed that a couple of lights on the mirror adjust ring have also dropped out.
Has anyone changed any of these? I guess you have to pull off the door trim? Is it a lot of work? Are the bulbs a dealer item?

I'm not positive on this, but if GM is holding up to their reputation and their norm I can only imagine that the bulbs are irreplaceable and the entire switch will need to be replaced. As-in the bulbs are soldered onto a circuit board so to replace them you would have to solder in a new one. This is not a job for a novice more than likely. But, like I said, I could be wrong though.

The light behind my passenger front door heated seat button is burnt out, and yes, the switch needs to be replaced. Its one of those non-essentials that I'm just living with now.
