Taking my 97 in tomorrow for new plugs and wires and a tranny drain and filter (87000 miles). What is the proper gap for the AC Delco Platinum plugs for the 4.0? Is it .65 or .50? I believe there are conflicting settings on these, according to what I've read on other boards. Just want to make sure all is right

I have seen both .60 and .50. I was told by autozone that they should be gapped at .60. I think Peter mentioned that .50 was correct. To make a long story short, I guess I can't help you. Sorry

The most correct information will be found under your hood. The vehicle emissions information sticker will list the appropriate plug gap.
