They probably look horrible during the daytime. Notice how all the good photos are at night while lit up so you can't see what it really looks like

Similar to the turn signal indicators on the new Caddys and GMC/Chev trucks.

It said they just stick on and you run wires behind the mirror thru the door jamb and into the fuse box.

I can't see how to take the glass out - and you wouldn't want the wires to show, it would have to look like an original installation. Howard

Factory installed lighting is red on those mirror indicators, I would want that option. Blue is hard to read in the daylight.

You could probably just snake through the original wiring harness that controls the mirror motor and heating.

They seem to have them in other colors as well, I kept scrolling and found them in an amber yellow...
