FIRST OFF: When I reached my destination I saw the SAME color aurora, with chrome factory rims, sunroof, heated seats & gold badging for sale!!! (I almost fell over because i've yet to see one aurora except one 2g, and the first 1g I see is like mine but with EVERY option). I didn't check the miles but the paint was perfect and it was very clean, didn't have a price listed (but assuming it's cheap, it was in a spot that a regular guy puts one/two cars there sometimes for cheap, there was a 95 camaro v6 next to it for only $500 that was in good condition). If anyones wondering it's located in lancaster, pa at the end of south prince street sitting on the hill at the light where you can make a left! and PS dont tryi looking in autotrader or cars.com classifieds as it's not there it's a very discreet private guy that sells cars here and there!
This is the 2nd month I made my monthly trip from wildwood, nj to my former home in lancaster, pa (to see my family and take care of some things also). Anyways before we left my dad and I noticed that one of the fuel lines that had a replacement line on it was hard as heck and ready to burst, luckily we went to the autozone got some high pressure fuel line (about 10inches for $9) put it on there and doing great!
But got back from the trip friday night 150 miles each way, 300 miles total it's nearly all highway and the aurora managed a 26.7 miles per gallon on premium 93 octane fuel (and that was with driving her hard a little bit, and going about 80-95 mph on the highway home since there was barely nobody on the road.
Last trip I averaged over 28 average miles per gallon with 93 fuel and STP Fuel Injector cleaner (that also boosts the octane, and increases fuel economy for 99 cents!)
Bought the aurora in early feb with just over 123k shes just turned 126k and doing GREAT, will be doing an oil change in another few hundred even though it says 37% oil life left. I did find out a few weeks ago it has a transplanted junkyard engine, AND transmission (kind of scares me it needed it but looks very LOW miles, the oil still looks BRAND new and has over 3k miles on it). My dads jeeps oil dosen't look this clean with not even 100 miles on his oil change, however I did have to add a quart after these 3k miles.
VERY happy with my $1800 investment!!! And my dad rides w/ me in the front and my mom and little chihuahua ride in the back, my mom and dog fall asleep nearly the whole ride home because it rides so smooth and the backseat is so comfty. And for those who ALWAYS drive their auroras and never sat in the back, one day just open the back door and sit in the back for a minute (I did this one time and ended up relaxing in the back for like 15 minutes because it was so nice, I actually almost fell asleep the back is like a limo!). I love the cockpit but the back is darn comftorable for an unadjustable bench seat, and everyone who sits in the back loves the ride (the previous owner had new air shocks installed).
