About 10 years ago, I had to take a road trip for work. I decided to take advantage of the time away to have some work done on my car and rent one for the drive. I ended up at an Enterprise branch inside a local Cadillac/Olds dealership. The guy offered me a deal on an Aurora and, after the trip, I was hooked. ;D
I bought a Champagne '99 a few years later and recently bought a White '99 from someone in the military who had it damaged during return shipping from Guam.
In looking for some troubleshooting info, I ran across this site and forum. My current issues with my first one are:
+ fuel gauge inaccuracy below 1/2 tank
+ almost continuous warning message about low coolant
+ power windows not working (none work from driver's controls or their own)
I've done a bit of searching here on the window issue but none of the posts seemed to outline the way mine are acting up. I'm also assuming that the fuel gauge issue will require a sending unit and I heard several years ago that the coolant issue was due to a sensor (on the overflow tank?) that routinely goes bad.
If anyone has thoughts or pointers to specific posts/answers for these issues, thanks in advance for the time savings. I'll endeavor to post individual questions about my issues in the coming days. If there are specific things I need to know before I post that would clarify the issues for potential helpers, any pointers there would be greatly appreciated as well.
All the best...
