Took my 98 Aurora on a short trip over the weekend and lost a pillar cover off the passenger side.I am guessing it had 2 broken tabs and decided to go bye bye.Not supposed to happen unless your going 135MPH,but I was only going 85.Anyhow found 2 Auroras in wrecking yard today and put it back. Also got the drivers side just in case the other one goes. All else went well.

I wonder if it was just aging plastic or if it had already been damaged and finally failed. Things that make you go hmmmm...

or a previous owner changed the door weather strip, and accidentally pushed too hard to put it behind that plastic and broke-a-did it
