You can view the submissions here.
It's time for the fifth annual ACNA calendar submissions! This year's set of rules are almost identical to the rules of the past two years, as they seem to work pretty well. Here they are:
Here's the quick summary: Simply send me the photo that you want to be on the calendar in the biggest resolution you have; it doesn't matter how big. I won't accept it unless its 1600X1200 pixels or larger, however. It has to be that big to fit on the calendar. I'll make sure that it will fit and then I'll post it with the other submissions. PLEASE include your ACNA username, I know most of you but I like to be sure I'm getting the right person. Its as easy as that!
Photo submission is now open. It will end on Friday, October 5th. Please read below to see how to submit photos.
Voting will begin on Sunday, October 7th and will continue until Saturday, November 17th.
Here is a more specific overview of the process so that everyone knows whats going on:

Overall
That pretty much sums it up! Feel free to post questions/comments/suggestions on this thread.
The submission thread will remain locked throughout the whole process to eliminate drivel.
I am expecting some great pictures this year, and am allowing more than enough time for them to be submitted and voted on, almost double last year's timetable. Everyone should submit a photo, the more the merrier! Have at it, folks! ;D

Here is a more specific overview of the process so that everyone knows whats going on:
Photo Submission
- The photo submission process is what will start now and continue until October 5th.
- Only one photo per person can be considered for submission at once. (aka please don't send me your "top three favorites" because only one can go up in the submissions thread)
- Instead of posting them yourselves I will need a FULL RESOLUTION picture sent to MY EMAIL. This worked very well last year. There weren't any that were too small/too poor quality to use. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR ACNA USERNAME.
- I prefer that you send me pictures through email to xjsman89@auroraclubna.com. If you absolutely need to do so you can send me pictures via PM, but they have to meet the minimum size requirement.
- Full resolution pics mean that I need them as big as you can get them to me, not trimmed to fit on the site. I will add your pictures myself once I confirm that I have what I need for it to work on the calendar. The picture you send needs to be AT LEAST 1600 X 1200 PIXELS for me to accept it. Larger is preferred and will result in a cleaner picture.
- I'm testing all of these out on CafePress as I receive them to make sure they fit. I'll do my best to crop/edit them so that they work.
- If the quality of your photo isn't very high (no cell phone pics!) then we may have to ask that you submit a different one. We wont be picky, but grainy, unfocused, or unclear pictures aren't what we want. We want the calendar to look as good as possible!
- While I wouldn't recommend it, you will be allowed to change the photo you submitted to me up until the submission deadline. It's a good idea to get your photo in as quickly as possible in order to have it be seen by everyone. You only get to change your photo a maximum of two times, so choose wisely.
- You must submit a photo of your own car. If you have taken a good picture of someone else's car then send the picture to them and they can submit it themselves.
Voting
- Voting will take place via a poll at the top of the submissions thread
- In the event of a tie vote, there will be a one-week tiebreaker vote between the pictures in question.
- If the tiebreaker somehow ends in a tie, then the best picture will be chosen by ACNA staff.
- Everyone will get seven votes this year. Due to the larger amount of submissions the amount have votes has been increased from five to seven. If everyone who submitted a photo votes for their own as well as six others then we can keep a level playing field, so please do so!
- Voting will begin on October 7th and continue through November 17th.
- If necessary, a two week tiebreaker will be held from November 17th to December 1st.
- Voting will take place in the submissions thread. The poll will be hidden for the entire voting period, and you will be able to see it once the voting completes at approximately 12 noon central time.
Overall
- The calendar will be put together via Cafe Press again. I'm giving myself a month to do all the photoshop work needed, get it together, and get it online and ready for purchase. The target date for the calendar release will be mid December.
- The price will be $17.99.
- There will be two meet photos on the calendar this year. Auroras in Aurora (IL) will occupy June, while the Springfield, MO meet will occupy October (or November, the actual meet month this year).
- Please note that this is an Aurora calendar... aside from meet photos please don't submit photos of you and the car. (and no models laying on the cars, Lance! ;D)
- Everything is subject to change of course, if the staff and I find that there is a better way to do things then I might change up how its done.
- There is no campaigning allowed. (No "vote for me's") and comments have to be kept civil. Feel free to discuss everything here but please no put downs. The staff always reserves the right to delete unwelcome posts.
