Now there's a skill I need! Alternator rebuild! That's mint man! High output alternator rebuild . It was pretty straight forward and there are plenty of youtube videos on rebuilding the CS144s. So, far so good. It all seems to be working well!

Going to play around using a potentiometer in place of the factory thermistor. This way I can set the charging voltage to whatever I would like. The DIC in my '96 reads 0.2V higher than at the batteries. Slight voltage drop to keep in mind when setting charging voltage with the pot.

With the weather clearing I can finally get around to making the finish panels. Been researching for a new project and started collecting parts but hopefully get it finished up and pretty soon. Only so much free time...

Received ProMariner AC plug holder and AC splitter the other day. Will use this to mount in the wheel well or something. This way I can charge both batteries during down time easily without having to have a window down or trunk open. Made or marine use so should be sufficiently waterproof for auto use . I would love to have a dual battery charger but this plus a splitter makes it simple to charge both batteries with existing maintainers.

New system and high output alternator still performing well with no issues. Would like to get the finish panels in before weather turns bad but have been busy with other things.
