While Googling for info on the Aurora I ran across a mention in a review about magnetic front struts. A search here found nothing. What's that all about--or was it just a mistake by the writer?

Google "magnetic ride control struts". A lot of info & sources will be pulled up.

But is it relevant to the Aurora?

I don't think so, because Auroras were never available with them.

you can google Acadia Supercharger and you'll get the website www.andysautosport.com, but look through it and there is NO supercharger for an Acadia listed. www.andysautosport.com is full of crap for useful searches. i think you found a common word in the search. ie: Cadillac often comes up when looking for Aurora parts because some parts interchange. The DTS had magnetic fronts, while they and the Aurora shared the rears.
