I've got the trans mount loose but cant slide it off the bolt because of clearance ,, I was going to try to loosen the bolt with a 20mm wrench and take them out together ,, any suggestions??

WOW what a pain in the A** that was...the new valve is in ,, finally.......... just got to put the mount back on and see if it was all worth it............

well the actual act of removing the valve and installing the new on took pry less than 15 min... the cover actually rocked open a lot more than I thought ,, using a magnet on the clip was a sinch... the real hard part is getting everything off and then back on ,,, all together ,, It took pry about 6 to 8 hours,, I wouldn't want to do it again ,,, for sure...

plus ,, im still not sure if that was the cause of the P0741,,, i haven't been on a long road trip yet,,will be on the thruway tomorrow morning....i just hope the light stays off long enough for inspection this week

I can imagine ... My wifes moms 2003 Aurora just got this code at 83k... going to bring to the shop. Most of the time its that sensor . but sometimes can be other things but I hope for you its not.. I was installing oil pressure switch even tho its not super hard job but almost not space there took me 15 20 min after all the Fs and As ... I like to drive the car but to fix some things a big PITA.

one of them is cel light with P0741 code
