As many of you old timers can remember, I was the first to colormatch headlght bezels on my old Bordeaux Red 2nd Gen. Well I could not wait until nice weather hit to give some personal touches to my new '01 Rora we fondly call Misty. Lt. Bronzemist headlight and grills are colormatched and I have a spare set of fogs that I want to modify some how to make them flush and also colormatched with HID's installed. The engine cover which I also colormatched was to be installed at the same time but that is on hold until I can find hold down bolts to fit since I installed a new intake manifold last week. Also looking into ways of modifying that amber reflector in front I was hoping to find another set of Elbrus 106 wheels but they no longer produce them. If you all have any suggestions for a wheel choice, let me know. I am not opposed to Bronze wheels.

Love the color matched headlight bezel and lower grilles. Fog light options are non-existent for aftermarket so custom it will have to be. I tried to make the fog light more circular by cutting the front half off and not a tear drop shape but had the hardest time making a new lens out of acrylic to fit properly and look good. Also, don't bake the fog lights for too long or too hot (lens will warp and spider crack the inside laminate) and use a very blunt flat object (not a flat head screwdriver) to pry up the lens. Its not regular butyl sealant like the headlights. Have fun!! My foglights (Hella MicroDE Halogen version)

Wow would have never guessed it would look so good color matched like that. Makes me want to do that now haha. How well does that paint adhere to the plastic vents? Does road debris cause constant chips? I guess that be my biggest fear of attempting this. It look like crap after a few months... I'm.guessing you have your own paint guns?

^Any auto paint shop will mix the paint and put in an aerosol can for you. Just take in your paint code. No paint gun needed. Clearing them will protect them a bit longer.

I did this on my Bordeaux Red '03 originally and the grills got chipped up a bit but I just re-sprayed them. The rocks and debris will hit your bumper and the grills but the great thing is the grills come off in a snap. I recommend using an adhesion promoter spray I always use this as my paint source and never had a color matching issue. www.automotivetouchup.com/
