Hello fellow Aurora enthusiasts,
I not-so-humbly present to you likely the first and only TRON-themed Aurora!
This project took about 20 hours total of prepping, dipping, and taping time over the course of a weekend. I was the member who posted a couple months ago about what to dip my Aurora, and after reading the responses and taking opinions from others, I settled on black. Somehow my friend and I landed on the TRON theme, and how it could be easily done with some reflective vinyl tape and a lot of patience. So, in one weekend, we dipped the whole car black and after a day or so of curing we went straight to taping. I actually didn't buy enough the first go around (we used up 3 50-ft rolls pretty fast) so I had to order some more and finish it off a few days later.
I really couldn't be happier with the results. The tape reflects any point-source light at night (headlights, street lamps, ESPECIALLY CAMERA FLASHES) and is completely legal (it's actually safety tape for campers/bike helmets/etc.). The dip also helped cover some scratches, dents, and rust spots pretty well by taking the attention away from them. I understand this is probably the last thing any classy Aurora owner would do, but I just couldn't help myself after seeing the first strip of tape go on.
Below is an imgur album of all the finished pictures taken professionally by my friend who also did most of the dipping/installing:

Also included below is an imgur album of some of the process photos:

Also, here's a video I took of me skating around the car while we were taking pictures (sorry for the vertical filming):

I'd be super happy to answer any questions you might have about anything. Thanks for looking!
