hey guys, so I recently went through almost 2 back to back incidents of misfiring issues. the first time (about 3 weeks ago) was the back bank (cylinder 2/4/6) Ignition control Module needing to be replaced. about a week or 2 later, the front bank (cylinder 1/3/5) Ignition Control Module went and needed to be replaced. Now that both have been replaced, my CEL light was off but came on last night giving me P0420 error code. I'm going to go for a little drive and read some real time data of Bank 1 HO2S1 and HO2S2 to see if i can read any tell tale signs. As far as I know, there are a couple options of what's going on here. Either my Catalytic converter has crapped out to a point where its still working, just under its "required threshold" (i'm not smelling egg smells or hearing any rattling) or sensor 2 is going bad. On the drive, i'll be looking to see if sensor 2 reads pretty steady. but is there anything else I could be looking for in the real time data that could give me a better understanding? any advice or help would be great.

After going for the cruise, scanned for faults again and came up with P0141. I'm hoping it's the sensor and a replacement fixes the problem... Or does that mean it's the cat?

P0141 may be a short in the harness, check that first. If not, replace the O2 sensor and hope the P0420 doesn't come back. If it does, time to go cat shopping, haha!

I replaced the sensor when I replaced the Cat. fixed the code.
Still have an extra Cat for cheap, brand new, PM me if interested...
