About a year after I bought the car (the majority of which time it sat immobile), I got a horrible vibration. I thought initially it was in the passenger side front. Had it diagnosed, was told it was the front bearings, so I had them replaced. That eliminated about 25% of it.
Next, I went back to basics. Rotated and balanced. That took care of about another 50%. Now, it definitely seems to have moved with the wheels; it's far more pronounced on the driver side.
The vibration is completely and utterly non-existent at typical surface road speeds, and only becomes pronounced at 55 mph and up. The faster I go, the worse it is. This has been the pattern since before the first repair.
So, any thoughts?

You may want to look CLOSELY at ur TIRES.....they may have broken belts, which will show itself as knots or "egg" in the tread portion of the tires.

Hub bearings are brand new. Don't see how it could be the tie rod, if it moved from one side of the car to the other.

Could be a lot of things. If it moved with the rotation though, that would seem to point to a damaged rim or tire. A lot of guys on here suggest getting the tires "roadforce" balanced.

Someone here went through the whole nine yards with the exact same problem a while back. Turned out to be a Fix-A-Flat issue, haha!

As these are the tires that came with the car, and considering the other crap the guy did to it, Fix-a-Flat would be comparatively minor...

^In that case, may be worth the money to have that tire pulled/inspected.
