Evening family, I have my "brake" lgt. Come on intermittently while driving. Brakes are operating fine, my brake fluid is where it should be, & my Emergency brake pedal is normal. I even unplugged the wire going to the brake fluid reservoir thinking it was sticking, but still getting the dash brake lgt. Anyone experienced this or have a clue?? Thanks

Does it come on and stay on, or just flash once with a "ding" from the chimes?
Mine was doing the flash/ding about 18 months ago, accompanied by a THEFT SYSTEM FAULT on the DIC within a minute. No idea how/if they are related.
Like you, my brakes were good, brake fluid reservoir was full, and the park brake would engage and disengage normally. I don't know exactly what fixed it, but after I cleaned and reseated the reservoir, park brake, battery, and PCM connections it stopped. No problems since...

It does both, comes on with the chime & will stay on til the engine shuts off. If I restart, it's off til the next time...

i would scan the codes . For my moms 2002 3.5 aurora was short in battery that was causing the issue and for my friend faulty sensor in the reservoir or you might have a leak from line or caliper that can trigger the alarm cuz for a second the fluid becomes low .

Wouldn't a battery short show its self in other ways as well?.... not having any electrical issues.

I was thinking the same but i guess not or it will show in other things that you cant really tell but once the battery was changed everything cam back to normal .. but of cause the battery was tested first and it did fail the test.
