I'm considering doing a carpet swap in my 01 Aurora. It has the beige interior, so the beige carpet is in there. I was wondering what you guys thought about having the graphite carpet with the beige interior. My brother-in-law has a Toyota with a white interior and black carpet which looks pretty good

I've thought about dyeing my carpet (and the brown plastic trim pieces) to black more than once, haha!
The headliner fabric on my sunshade and CHMSL got the best of me one day, so I ripped it off! Recovered them in the only fabric I had available at the time, black. I kinda liked the 'black 'n tan' contrast... Always wondered what a few more accents would've looked like, but ultimately, went back with the tan.
I say go for it!

As I recall, it's a lot of trim removal (mostly clips) and maybe 6 or 8 bolts...
I can scan pages from the FSM, but it may take a few days. We're hurricane preppin', lol!

There's so many shades going on in these cars already; tan, khaki, beige, brown, cream...what's another shade?

Haven't seen Black in the second Gen, but I'm going with the graphite carpeting...
Unless the first Gen carpeting is compatible... 🤔
