Well I am so sorry about getting the pics up so late, it has been an very busy year for me as an educator and an administrator that does not leave me have much free time, so as promised I finally got the pics up. This was the Oldsmobile Nationals that was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico of 2017 last year in late July. The nationals are held in a different state every year for 4 to 5 days. My Old Oldsmobile's were not in the nationals this year due to how far away it was to drive my older cars, our 2013 XTS and my moms 2016 Lacrosse were the cars we drove to the show.
These Olds were the ones we hardly ever see at the meet in Lansing, Michigan so these are different Olds for the most part. I seen quite a few familiar faces but we all said it was too far for our Olds to drive that long. Although my Olds hass been good reliable transportation that I can count on no matter what.
Oldsmobile is well and alive, theres no such thing as being dead or forgotten. We still have quite a few Oldsmobile car shows, we have many members of the Olds club of America and many meets, plus we have a museum dedicated to Olds and REO vehicles. Also the two assembly plants back in Lansing, Mi pays homage to Oldsmobile and what Olds started for GM to be the best in quality, and it started their!!!!
Also please give me feedback, I want to know your opinions and if you folks want to see more, I am not an perfect photographer so i suck at taking pics but they are what they are. So please engage in this if anyone likeseeing or appreciate them!!!
So I hope everyone enjoyed these pics, these are not all of them but hopefully I will get more on here soon within this month. I also will try and put up the Homecoming pics from Lansing, Michigan too in another post. We need to get this board more active and going here, the Aurora is still a sought and beloved car and Oldsmobile in general. As an educator and Im an admin for the high school here in Springfield, so I dont have that much time on here on this forum as I like. So please enjoy, sit back, and relax to all of these Oldsmobiles that we no longer get to see everyday and take a stroll back in the good old days!
