Wet Passenger Floormat and it doesn't seem to be anti-freeze

Google is failing me.  After a heavy rain the passenger front floor mat of my 97 is wet.  This might have happened to less of a degree the last couple times.  It doesn't feel, taste or smell like anti-freeze and I'm not low.

If i recall there are 10101 threads about cleaning sunroof drains which I never paid much attention to.

What should I search to find one with cleaning or repair directions for a fellow like me.
