Hello everyone. Like many others, I have been lurking here in the forum for a while taking in new information.
I have loved the Aurora since I saw the first commercial on TV back in 1994. I happened to own a 1988 Delta 88 at the time. Since then, it always seemed to not be "the right time or opportunity" to pick one up.
In early September, I was driving my 1992 Toronado to work and got t-boned. The insurance company gave me over 5k for my Toro and I decided now was the time to pick up an Aurora. Best. Decision. Ever.
I found a G2 '03 in Florida with 93k miles on it. While there are little annoyances that I have discovered, driving her truly feels like I am driving an updated version of my Toro (which is getting rebuilt).
Soo all that's to say, I am here and ready to participate. Thanks to all of you who have already put out a TON of information, its appreciated!

Welcome to the family, member....plz. post some pics soon! Missing something here... is there an upload button to use via the mobile site? I have a few really nice pics to post. I don't see how to upload it on the mobile site but if you look in the lower right hand corner of the page (scroll to the bottom) you will see a link that lets you view the "desktop" version of the site. On that version you will find an "add image to post" link near where you reply. Alternatively I like to use a third party website to host images I post on this forum. You can post larger images and it doesn't use the storage for the forum. www.tinypic.com works well for me. Congrats on your Aurora purchase, and sorry about your Toronado! I had someone pull out in front of me and wrecked my first Aurora. That was a sad time. Glad you finally decided to join the forum, welcome!

Welcome! What a find to score an Aurora under 100k miles!
Mine is a FL car too and is about as rust free as a 21-year-old vehicle can be. I hope yours is the same. It makes fixing things A LOT easier! LOL

It makes fixing things A LOT easier! LOL It's mostly rust free. It did spend 8 years in Ohio. You are right though. 93k car for 3 grand. It was a good buy. Us newbies need to organize a meet. I'm thinking Aurora NC.
