Guess who’s 4t65e decided to only allow 3rd gear and nothing else in their Buick park avenue? SO I’ve been thinking for no particular reason it was time to fix aurora amd get her going
i need brake lines. 99 has traction and abs.
DOES SOMEOME MAKE A BRAKE LINE KIT DEAR GOD PLEASE HELP
if you don’t know personally one that works, does anyone have specs for the fittings amd things needed to replace them fully
i never have done lines but if I have to I can learn
i just don’t have time to dump on it
i have an in-line tube set of brake lines but they literally are not for this car not a single line matches an Oe line

My 2001 needed brake lines 2 years ago. I checked around on the net, and found no brake line kits. After some more asking around, I found a Midas shop in Fairfield, Connecticut that was able to make the brake lines. It was expensive, but it worked out great! Go to www.midas.com & find a shop in your area.

I checked inline tubes website and they have added a new kit for a 99 Oldsmobile aurora... interesting. It’s disc/disc and abs according to them. Last time, I tried explaining g to their customer service that rhey can’t sell lines for rear Drum because THERE IS NO REAR DRUMS
maybe they heard me years ago snd motivated them. I’m not looking forward to this, I’ve spent so much time working on my park avenue just to... start over. I need to get a battery that can fit in the damn thing then air up all 4 tires and drive it partially down a hill without brakes...I’m thinking of using an anchor like my 1980 gmc to slowly allow it for ward without going too far and have someome steer so I can get it in garage
Have the subframe thank god. I’m hoping it doesn’t need any major suspension components because if it does i would just steal the control arm and knuckle and strut from my park avenue amd take it straight over... be nicer if I had space to pull both cars in. I’m really excited I wanted to enjoy my aurora after buying it but the brake line blew and life got too quick. It just needs a speed sensor , subframe, and brake lines to get base line driveable. Once that is fixed I know the multifunction switch needs the old cleaning trick. It does a light show at random
Can someone do the work for me so I can sleep and wake up to a working car thanks

I'm not familiar with these myself, but Motor City Muscle Car apparently sells brake line kits on eBay. Worth checking out. Best of luck to you getting your Aurora 'Back On The Road Again'. Gee, Willie Nelson should make a song about that.

I did get it moved. Still locked wheel will use to advantage since I must drive downhill with no brakes.

Is it front or rear brake lines or both. I did my rear break lines this spring I just went to O'Reilly's and got bubble flare m10 brake lines bending and some splicing required but it didn't take to long. I have all the lengths for the rear lines in the classic if your interested.
good luck rehabilitating your car

Do you by chance have pics of your rear lines made up? I need literally every single brake line for the car. But, if I can see what your rear lines look like I can maybe verify the shape to the online product snd confidentlt buy them or something

Not sure if you looked at the kit I showed earlier. I'm sure you have a budget you'd like to replace them all for, but $172 for everything pre-bent and free shipping isn't a bad deal in my opinion

See the problem I have is I bought their kit ALSO for 95-99 aurora and not a single line ma4ches a single *** ***** thing remotely.
There wasn’t rear drums on aurora and they had it split into two kits while thi new one is one. I do t ******* know what to believe or think. I need to see actual confirmed fit lines to be able to justify the spend because you can’t return hem without basically buying mother set in shipping
