Have always loved the first gen styling of the Aurora and would like to find one. My hope is to find a clean one with under 100k on it. Bonus points if it's black or the dark metallic silver color. I just know I want to avoid the champagne, seafoam blue colors. I figured a group forum would be best place to hunt a clean one down since at this point most are moments from a junk yard. Anyone looking to part with one?

Try Googling "1995 - 1999 Aurora". That might find one for sale.

I have but not much luck it seems. Most have been living the last 20 years on the "bad" side of town and are not the experience I am looking for.

My car: 2009 1999 Oldsmobile Aurora. Non-autobahn. Standard radio and moon roof. Front bumper license plate holder (not required in NC). Purchased the car in 2009 with 60k miles. Located in the Raleigh NC area.
Per your post: Clean? - yes, by any reasonable definition for a used car Under 100k? - yes, 98,000 miles Looking to get rid of it? - yes, my wife insists. And, I've had my fun with it; it's someone else's turn now. Any color but Champagne? - no. Unfortunately, the official Oldsmobile color is "Light Antelope Metallic", which on other GM models is called "Champagne", I think
Bonuses: (2009) replaced front rotors, calipers, and struts from 2007 Buick Lucerne (2009) rust killer applied to frame - note that exposure to road salt in the Raleigh NC area was probably less than once per year (2009) self-installed K&N oiled cloth air filter. Paper filter in box included. (2009) added extra engine bay grounding wires. (2010) rear struts and springs from Buick (Lucerne? Park Avenune? I can't remember) (2010) rear brakes, rotors, pads, calipers from Pontiac Bonneville GXP (2010) front bumper cover support augmented to prevent sagging sometimes seen on this model (2011) strut tower brace installed from 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP (2011) beefed up rear sway bar from 2002 Cadillac STS (2012) cat back exhaust system incl mufflers and used tips from 2005 Pontiac Bonneville GXP; proportional and looks good (2012) replace stock turn signal flasher for a little quicker cycle time (2017) new serpentine belt at 90,000 miles as a precaution (2017) Wolf custom fit car cover. Showing a little age, but still functional. At my house it keeps tree sap and weather off the paint. has a set of clear cornering lamps im a box ready for installation has extra winter rubber floor mats with AURORA logo; has carpet mats, too has small number of misc extra parts purchased from Aurora Board members in the past but never installed.
All the above suspension and brake mods are considered mild upgrades, I think. Except for the minor variation of the exhaust tips, the car's appearance and stance is completely stock. All these mods were the result of a desire to tweak the ride of the car - - none of them were due to failures of the Oldsmobile parts.
Routine maintenance rigorously carried out. Most of the mechanical subsystems have been replaced during my ownership - water pump, starter, radiator, catalytic converter, sensors, gaskets, hoses, belts, etc.
I know your post is fairly old, but if you are interested still (or again?) just let me know.
