I tried to CREATE a NEW THREAD, but I couldn't find a NEW THREAD button or any way to generate one, so right or wrong here it is. Some of the 1st Gen members may want to give this John Harrington clown a rude awakening. He has the Gen-1 Aurora listed as one of the 25 ugliest cars every made. And he probably drives a Gremlim with an AMC Pacer parked in his garage. I hate guys like this with no sense of taste.🤬 www.msn.com/en-us/money/personalfinance/25-of-the-ugliest-cars-ever-made/ss-AAZvrMC?ocid=U142DHP&li=BBnb7Kz#image=19EDIT: (rca1186):Created the thread for you. New thread button is on the top right after clicking on the appropriate section of the forum for the thread's subject.

No real credibility to this, they don't state why they think this way and just compile a list of 25 cars. It's all a matter of opinion. A few on there I consider to be unique or even beautiful/cool, Aurora included.

Ppl will never understand how significant the Aurora was to Olds, and more specifically GM. So why do we keep broaching this topic? The Aurora signified CHANGE at Olds at the time and GM saw this. That's why they ROBBED the platform and used it for their shi**y cars at their lame Cadillac and Buick divisions.
The Aurora ushered in CHANGE! Sure it didn't sell MILLIONS like that disgusting 86 Cutlass but it wasn't designed too....NO ONE was selling millions of a single vehicle anymore. GM just expected Olds to do that because they'd done that in the PAST. They eliminated their technology division and they're still reeling from it. After all the Glass Roof Aurora was proposed in what, 1994? And now look, EVERY manufacturer had a glass roofed vehicle.
The Aurora was innovative and spoke for itself and the sales numbers showed it. We don't entertain asinine articles that don't look at the FACTS.
RIP Olds. Love you FOREVER!
