Hi, everyone. I’ve seen several threads on this topic from a number of years ago, but never was able to find a definitive answer. I just acquired a 1995 Aurora, black exterior, and brownish gray interior. I actually have the broadcast sheet from the car and it says that the interior is Mushroom leather (code 553) with Mushroom interior trim (code 55I). However, I also ordered the dealer invoice from the GM heritage center, and it says that it is Sandstone with the same color codes. Olds never used the name “Mushroom” in their brochures, only Sandstone, so I assume that these are the same color and changed the name for marketing purposes.
I also noticed that people had recommended DupliColor and LeatherWorld Tech for buying paint for the console. Does anyone recall what was the color code they used for this? My interior is in great shape, except for the cupholder cover which looks terrible - the paint is coming off and it’s kind of gummy feeling. I know the threads date back to 2006, but if anyone knows what to order here I would be most appreciative!
Thanks, Joe Morsman
