The vacuum lines to the secondary A.I.R. system are broken and not connected. Problem is there are 5 (that I've found) and not sure what to connect to which. I have 2 black lines running in front of the engine (2002 3.5), one from the driver-side shut-off value and one to the throttle body. (1 & 2) From the switch behind the engine, I have an orange line and a black line. (3 & 4) And a black line from the passenger side shut off valve.
Can anyone tell me what to connect?
Thanking in advance

Did you find out what goes where?

Only by common sense (I hope!). One line should be coming from the manifold supplying the switch. Then from the switch it should be split to the two control valves. While that makes sense (to me) I'm not sure why they ran the first vacuum line the long way around the front of the engine. I couldn't find a diagram anywhere, and two relays on the 3.5 seems to be quite rare. Just wanted to eliminate any vacuum leaks while I try to get a decent consistent idle. So I temporarily simply blocked off all the lines until I run out of other things to fix! Idle getting better but not sure if it improved on this fix or not, and still not consistently what it should be.
Thank you very much for asking!
