My 741 code didn't go away when I changed the TCC sensor so I figure it's a deeper problem. What's odd is last weekend I made two highway trips that were around 60-65 miles one way. I noticed on Sunday the check engine light was no longer on. I didn't think much about it and on Monday I went on a short trip to a local town (10 miles one way) and the light came back on.
Weird.

By chance did you disconnect the battery cable for a few mins.? Gives the codes a chance to clear out

No, it was disconnected for weeks up until I started driving it again after replacing the TCC sensor. After a couple of short trips the light came back on so I've just been driving it. Then last weekend it went out, then came back on a couple days later. I think these cars are possessed.

It can be other issues with tcc code can be even torque convertor issue . Might be sensor faulty or plug issue.
