Just looking for the value of an 03 Aurora.
2003 Aurora Light Blue Dark Graphite Interior 244K Memory Seats Heated Seats Bose Stereo 12 disk CD changer A/C works Heat works Gold Package (faded but still shows gold) Have pictures of interior and exterior when I officially post it for sale
Pros: Runs and drives Car has been our daily for XX years
Cons: Hail Damage (Hood, Roof, Trunk with some spots on the fenders) Headliner in front is falling down Needs Wheel Sensor Needs Blower Motor (Will work on occasion but really needs to be replaced) One of the Valve Cover gaskets needs to be replaced
Honestly, it's been a good car and would still be our daily driver had it not been in a hail storm. We're actually still driving it and I just changed the oil in it. We just feel it's time to move on, otherwise, we would fix what I have listed and keep on driving it.
I'm thinking something like $2000. Not sure if that's way high or stupid low. Any ideas on a fair price I should list it for?

I'm thinking probably about $1,000 due to Cost of Repairs. My AURORA runs and drives great but do to costly repairs I can't afford at the moment plus SMOG. Only shy under 190,000 miles, I'm lucky if I get $1,000 for it. So I'll probably hold it for back up or if someone offers me a decent amount. Had it for 13 Years and it's been an Amazing Car. Sadly it sits up front of Home, I do fire it up every Weekend. Good Luck Dude, these cars did us good...

I don't think you're too far off with 2000, might be right on for where car prices are today.

Thanks guys. Sounds like I'm good for somewhere around $1000 - $2000. Any other opinions?

I paid $2800 for my '01 almost a year ago. It had 119k, the common 4.0 oil leak, the TCC P0741 code, a MAF code (replaced), interior lights won't shut off, and the passenger door electronics didn't work (also fixed). It's not perfect and had I known about the TCC issue along with the oil leak that will never be fixed due to the cost I would have passed at any price. However, since I have it and for the most part it's otherwise in great shape, I'll drive it until something major goes out. Even without kicking in the TCC it still gets great mileage for a V8 and is a hell of a lot of fun to drive.
To answer your question, all but your hail damage is an easy fix. However, I thought mine had a bad tire sensor too but the '01 and some other years don't use them. Apparently it's some sort of computer thing that calculates the rotation rate of each wheel/tire and flags that if one is either low or high. I thought that was BS but I guess it's really a thing. I don't understand the math on that one. So if I were looking for a car, even with the stupid prices they're getting right now, I wouldn't pay $2k for something with that many miles. But that's just me.
