Guys and Gals,
What is the easiest eay to get some power to the trunk. I need to get some juice to a powered sub-woofer. Any ideas ? Hate to come all the way from under the hood.

Just a guess (not an expert) but the battery is under the back seat...does that help at all?

I was thinking about that. I was just wondering if anybody out there had had similar experiences. Thanks for the idea though!

You can get the rear seat out, and attach a wire to the connection at the fuse box where the positive battery cable attaches. Be sure to put a fuse in the wire as close to that connection as possible. (This is for the 2001). ______________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

The application is similar in the classic model too, everything is under there.

i just took off the back seat and ran power wire up underneath the rear firewall(whatever that thing is called) using a long solid wire attached to the desired power wire and pull it through. it is a very tight fit though.

I don't know if this helps any - but there's power to the antenna that only comes on with the radio - so that should be OK right?

i would think that the powered subwoofer will need at least 10 or 8 gauge wire, depending on the wattage it would be more.

The relay boxes have some open spots, couldn't you add stuff to it?
