Hi All Another problem. First let me start by saying that I have both the service manual and an Actron scanner for my 1995!! On the way to work my Temp. gage started droping down and then back. This happend 1 or 2 times and when I got home I found that DTC 23 had set both in history and for real and my EM light was on but the Temp. gage was working. I did notice that the car was running strande not missing but less power (when 23 sets the ICM does the timming and is fixed at 10 degres high). I reset the PCM and all was fine going to work. Comming home that night the gage went down again and the car went into the 10 deg. overide again but then after about 10 min. the car started missing. I fixed the Temp. problem( leads at the sencer were shorted) I reset the PCM but the car stell seems like it is missing and no power. I have no DTCs and EM light is ok. I only have about 5K miles on new plugs (platum) and ign wires. What do you guys think it is??? I havn't had the time or money to fix now driving another car. Could it be the PCM or ICM becausr the Temp. wires shorted?? A friend at work thinks it is the Cat. Converter. I just don't know!! Any Idear??? Gary

If you think ignition is the problem, I'd get that checked first to rule it in/out. Even if you can fix your PCM for $170, that still seems like a decent price (compared to what many complicated repairs cost on our Auroras). It sounds like you may already know more about the Aurora electrical components than many of us do!
