My AC is not as cold as it used to be and I want to recharge it. Is there any instructions out there that can help out. I have done it before but I forgot. Any help would be appreciated.

I would love to help, but have never done it before myself. All I know is to buy a recharge kit a walmart ,autozone or somewhere are put the metal fitting over the small bolt on the ac line (there are two, one small and one a bit larger) and squeeze the trigger. it only takes about 2 lbs. or refrigerant.
what year is yours? mines a 97 and may be different then yours
good luck ;D

rlouisa....add the refrigerant through the low pressure valve, with the engine idling and the air conditioning on. One very important point: always wear safety goggles like this when working with A/C systems. If you get any refrigerant in your eyes, it's goodby eyesight! ______________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

Thanks all. I picked up some r134a at the store and it was a breeze to do, and a heck of a lot cheaper. I also took the aurora to the dealer for the fuel line today and they fixed in around 1.5 hours. I was pretty impressed. IN the past week i have had the alternator fixed, new battery, alignment and rotate and balance, fuel line fix on the recall, and a full detail. Shouldn't need a new car for at least 2 to 3 years now. 110,000 miles on it and it is running like a new car. Other than this is there any other information sources out there like this for the Aurora? Thanks everyone..

I'm dropping her off Friday morning for the recall. Maybe they will put the 4.6 liter in there by mistake! That could probably be done. But I'm sure that it would be expensive beyond comprehension! ______________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!
