Hey, all. UNC student here, hometown near Concord. Stumbled upon this forum yesterday after I'd been debating over whether or not to buy this Aurora I saw a few days ago. Whether or not I decide to get it, I'll probably frequent this forum, as it seems to be the most active and friendly one around. My dad's got a 99 black on tan Autobahn Aurora, christened the "Black Bomber." Bose, sunroof, etc., etc.... and despite its beauty and prowess, it's becoming an expensive thing to maintain. That's my only reservation, really. Currently driving a 93 Buick Century, purplest thing I've ever seen. Was bestowed upon me by my grandma after my dad took my baby 92 Cutlass Supreme sedan (3.4 DOHC) this past summer for...um...man I don't even remember his excuse for taking it from me. He's driving it every time I come back home, since my mom uses the Aurora. In any case, it's sort of a reality check when you see the peg on your speedo drop from 120 on the Olds to a piddly 85 on the stodgy Buick. Not that I'd ever actually go 120 on the Cutlass. Enough about me. I worked hard today, I think it's time for a warm coconut.

Hey Roice, welcome! I'm glad you found us... if you buy the Aurora you're "eyeing" (which of course you should ), now you've got a group of folks who will know how great it REALLY is. None of your college buddies will probably believe you... until you take them for a ride, that is. ;D

Hey, Roice. This is Dad, owner of the Black Bomber that he hardly ever gets to drive since your Mom glommed onto it. And you know doggone good and well why you've got your Grandma's Buick instead of that knuckebusting Cutlass with the evil 3.4 DOHC engine that we_both_got tired of working on. Sorry to hang out family politics here, folks. Won't happen again.

I don't even think my parents know what an online forum IS, much less how to post on one! At least I hope that is the case...
