Well, I blew it! Amanda goes and promotes me to admin, and in my rookie jitters I blow away the General section of the ACNA boards....well, time to rebuild! Sorry about that ladies and gents. Can you forgive me? We had a few posts in the old General forums, but nothing we cant fix with more great threads. So! call it growing pains, or jitters...but sorry again, and lets keep 'er growin

And excelling is something I wont be doing. All my road trips are off this weekend. My car is costing me $1100 +tx+ labour to fix. So...ya no Cape Cod for me boss... Next time. Funny tho, whenever I plan a trip to the US, it ends up costing me an arm and a leg. Back in October it cost me $900 for a new radiator and now $1400ish for the brake module...oh glorious day

Yep. I factory GM radiator is actually over $1000 CDN, or about $750 USD I got the OE unit for the price of the rebuilt. Now did you know the cost of the plastic "new" rads are more then the old metal rads....go figure

Now did you know the cost of the plastic "new" rads are more then the old metal rads....go figure Um, I'm pretty sure most all modern radiators are aluminum. You couldn't make a plastic radiator. It might have plastic shrouding or casing, but the radiator itself would be aluminum. Plastics have crappy heat transfer capability.

Euh..they refered to it as a plastic rad, I'm sure the innards of the rad is metal (esp with that kinda heat) but ya the casing is plastic, as opposed to metal like on my Bonneville (that rad lasted 10 years)
