Hey Jim - This wasn't you was it ?
TORONTO - Ontario Provincial Police laid about 650 charges during a safety blitz on the province's 400-series highways over the Victoria Day weekend. Sgt. Cam Woolley said one of the more inventive excuses for speeding came from a 24-year-old motorist who claimed he rarely drove because he was nervous on the highway. The man, whose vehicle was clocked moving at 150 kilometres an hour, told police that he was speeding so that he could spend less time in transit.
