When working on an Aurora, it's very important to have the factory manual. Get that at www.helminc.comThat will give you a good idea of what tools you'll need. ________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

One thing to know is that no matter what, when you are working on a car you'll always run into a situation where you need some type of tool. This can often turn on to be couplers, various socket extension lengths, deep well sockets, allen wrenches, and torx/star wrenches.... both METRIC AND SAE!!!!! Having a decent assortment around is always a great help and time saver. A few other tools you'll almost ALWAYS need are small and large torque wrenches and a breaker bar. When you tighten down bolts in a car you don't just crank em down as hard as you can..you need to do it to specific torque specs(torque wrenches) and getting at those stubborn bolts that wont come loose the 1/2" breaker bar is a must. That all said, buy the most you can in tools as a set. If you have to buy them later individually it'll cost you a bunch more. I'd say that 254 pc set is a decent amount. I got that one first then before I used it I saw they had the 300+ pc set for like $10 more and a tool box on sale for $20.

erw38...That's what you need. Also, make sure that the tool set that you buy is metric. All fasteners on the Aurora are metric. And, like Zimaad said, get torque wrenches. Almost every nut and bolt in the Aurora has to be tightened to a specific figure, which is stated in foot pounds of torque. _____________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!
