Looks like '95's the winner! Yeah but this poll has been running for over a YEAR and the numbers keep on coming in! I'm guessing the tide will turn toward the newer model years as we go on...

My brand new to me is a '97 with only 58,800 KM (about 35K miles on it, still original tires. I'll be changing these out shortly. I was a car in the extended family, just didn't get driven a lot, but garaged full time so is virtually mint. Loaded in my opinion, but this is all new to me. Love the drive, however my wife's already squeezing me out of the drivers seat.

I currently drive an 03 Final 500 with 40,000 miles. I started with a 96, then drove a 98 Autobahn, then an 01 4.0, and now, the Final 500.

I just dug my '98 out of mothballs and started driving it again. It was parked in the garage a few years ago, when I got a company car to drive. Now i'm retired and am going to start driving it again. It just turned 30k, and is perfect in every way. It still had lots of tread on original tires, but they were so hard it rode rough, so I replaced the tires and battery and have a brand new, free car...!

I just dug my '98 out of mothballs and started driving it again. A '98 with 30k miles... amazing! ;D That's a real gem you've got there, also change the oil/filter and check your other fluids if it's been sitting that long. Welcome to ACNA!

I am a new member with a 96 black/graphite Autobahn, with I think every option. It was purchased by me in late 1996 for my then 77 year old mother. She didn't drive that much, and then gave up driving completely in early 2006. After sitting in the garage for over a year, it is now registered in my name.
The car has under 15k miles. To get it back on the road reliably and safely, I put on a new set of Yokohama Avid V4s tires, had the brake calipers freed up and the rotors turned, and had the A/C serviced. It was put away with clean oil and a full tank of gas. To my amazement, the fuel injection seems to be running perfectly and fresh gas with a little Techron helps too.

I had a 96 for three years (used) and traded for a 02-4.0 with 17k miles. I like both for different reasons The 96 was like scotttydl 's and the 02 is like Marc's. I feel fortunate that I was able to have one of each generation. I really admire the classic design.

I'm driving a 99... It would make sense that 95 and 01 would have the most votes given that these model years sold more than all the other years combined?

I voted for my 1995. We love it...but I'll love it a lot more if I can ever get O/D to come back!!! I'm going to do the shift solenoids with updated bracket soon. We just keep the selector in "3" all the time and drive 55 or 59mph at the most...PLUS SIDE IS---we've avoided 1 or 2 speeding tickets recently by having to drive slow!!!

Wow, I hadn't seen this thread before. So it got me thinking, I had seen figures on how many were produced and the years. I thought it might be interesting for comparison. Here it is... Production Figures1995: 45,677 1996: 22,349 1997: 25,579 1998: 23,955 1999: 18,729 2001: 53,640 2002: 8,576 2003: 7,217 Votes to date... Poll Poll Question: What year Aurora do you drive? 1995 (51 votes, 19.7%) 1996 (27 votes, 10.4%) 1997 (43 votes, 16.6%) 1998 (32 votes, 12.4%) 1999 (31 votes, 12%) 2001 (46 votes, 17.8%) 2002 (18 votes, 6.9%) 2003 (10 votes, 3.8%) Total Votes: 258 Looks to me like the votes are pretty much in line with production. "votes" on 2001's may be a tad shy. **edit** Ok, so I actually decided to do the math (I should get paid for this...lol...I usually do ) and here are the results (to date)... Production Figures .........% of total produced.......% of Votes 1995: 45,677 ................................22.2.............................19.7 1996: 22,349 ................................10.8.............................10.4 1997: 25,579 ................................12.4.............................16.6 1998: 23,955 ................................11.6.............................12.4 1999: 18,729 ..................................9.1.............................12.0 2001: 53,640 ................................26.0.............................17.8 2002: 8,576 ....................................4.1...............................6.9 2003: 7,217 ....................................3.5...............................3.8
