PLEASE HELP!!! I have a water leak in the front passenger floor board. We think it might have something to do with a clogged air conditioner vent. It only seems to happen when I run the A/C, but theres more to the story when my battery when dead and my husband replaced the battery we noticed that we had water under the back seat where the battery resides. I read a letter about the backseat leakage. They replaced the molding that fixed the problem. Ours seems to be a little more confusing than that. Why would we have leakage under the battery area and under the passenger front seat...Please give any advice that would help us!!! Thanks so much>>>

There should be a drain on the bottom of the compartment where the A/C evaporator is. It might be clogged. As for the water in the rear, the door seals could be bad. Those are my guesses about these problems.

To me it sounds like two seperate issues. Try cleaning the drain for the A/C, like Marc suggested.

the leak in the rear by the battery is probably causes by a plugged sunroof drain or disconnected sunroof drain tube. If it's disconnected it can leak into the trunk and can eventually find its way to the battery area..

I have the same problem with my 3.5, 2001. How can I find the AC evaporator and is it doable from the interior or from under the car?

Yeah, sounds like two problems, if you have a sunroof.
