Just had my 2001 Black Aurora tinted 17 percent. I have never owned a car with tinted windows. Any precautions? Can I use my rear defogger this winter? What do I clean them with? Any Help appreciated...

usually non-ammonia glass cleaners are a must. I'd stick with auto-specific glass cleaners that specifically say they are safe for tint. And follow any guidelines the tint manufacturer had.

I'd like to get my 97 tinted, but don't know much about it. Is the percentage of tint regulated by state, county, city, or what? I'm in Cincinnati if anyone can be of help.
Thanks
John

Your local tint shop will know the legal limit---I went to two different shops and both suggested 17 percent----at night as well as during the day you can barely see the interior---I love it and it looks great on my Black 2001..It cost me 159 with a lifetime warranty...

dont roll down your windows or use your defroster for at least 3 days after getting tinted.

i've got 35% on the sides, 20% on the back. the product i use is called "invisible glass" made by stoner (haha funny company i know). works excellent, safe on tint, no ammonia. and its available at yep you guessed it...wal mart! haha

I use Eagle one 20/20 on mine and it works great! I have my windows tinted at 35%. Thought about tinting over it with 50% to make it a lil darker but I dunno.

I use Gunk Window Foam, works good...use a newpaper to wipe it off.
