Ok I am jealous...that is the car I was shopping for..I loved the "look" of the car so much that after around 3 months of eating, sleeping, nuttin but aurora sales...I ended up purchaseing the boring champagne color- but my view on it was just this: color can always be changed;) I love the pearl and the diamond white(I have to say I personally think white is the classiest color), the pearl red (i think thats the color) and the black I didn't want the champagne but hey the horseys where more important to me. We talk about giveing her a "new" look it is just haveing the time and money to do it there are so many projects...We love old cars too, camping, and are looking at building a softail sometime in the future.

My wife's GS will certainly pull on the Aurora on just about anything under 60mph. But the Aurora isn't far off, pulls harder at higher speeds, and feels a lot more competent doing it all. And the aural satisfaction is infinitly higher...

As most of you know I am looking for another Aurora since mine recently aquired some pretty sad frame issues, but I'm telling you once I find it I am going to be doing something to it, so i can stop getting mopped up by my roomies Mark VIII,

rut-row I guess I better check back some messages amanda....did you wreck girl? Were you ok? Good luck finding your perfect car...and remember you can always change the color....listen to me i just flipped over to the "gulp" 80k mark...ugh still driveing that darn champagne color. So, your baby was the white i wanted too right? and black interior did I read that right? Sweet! Wouldn't an aurora look great in a chrome illusion? With its nice curves I think it would look tough!

Nothing like replying to your own post...lol I must of misunderstood why you would be purchaseing another aurora I can't find any posts about problems with your 95. Let me clarify my post about the new buicks...I had to drive a new buick as a loaner till my aurora was fixed. I live on a hill so I have to pull a hill to get home that is what I based my observation on...and I am the type of person that gets attached to my vehicles so that could be another reason I wasn't "happy" with its performance. Anyways thank you all for your help with my under the hood problems. I certainly didn't access this site to make anyone mad or fight with anyone,It was purely to gain knowledge. Have a good weekend!

^ were you referring to me? I certainly wasn't trying to fight with you about Buicks, nor did I take any offense. I'd take my Aurora any day over any current Buick product. But not because it's faster then all of them. The Regal GS is quite a sleeper. There are many folks on regalgs.org with 13 second cars, and several with 12 second cars. I've never seen a 13 second Aurora.

oh no not at all.... I wasn't trying to come off like that at all I didn't think you were mad- I was just saying in gerneral that i would not say something to try to upset anyone. I am just the type of person that would rather make someone smile rather then frustrate them. Some people will not make a post if they are mad, you know what I mean? Like I was saying that to anyone that may have read my post was upset by it but didn't want to say anything.
